On January 15, my sister and I ventured out to the new Omomo location in Tustin! The Irvine one is always packed with a line at any time of day, and we saw on Instagram the Tustin one was in its soft opening phase. Although just slightly more of a drive, we hoped that there would be less people.
Sure enough, the line was nonexistent! I went with a magnolia milk tea, which was supposed to be a Tustin location exclusive for a limited time (turns out, the magnolia would replace the 4 seasons and osmanthus tea, a bit of a bummer). I’ve never seen magnolia on a menu before, so I was excited to try it out!
The drink tasted like a jasmine milk tea, just a little less bright and slightly more floral. I’d describe it as somewhere between a jasmine and an osmanthus. Really good floral drink! Boba was soft and chewy, the usual Omomo standard for boba.
