Roasted Tie-guan-yin Oolong Fresh Milk Tea (吾悠鐵觀音鮮奶茶) – Woo Yo Tea

March 14 was my first official day of spring break! This year, I was headed to Taiwan for a family trip, as my sister’s spring break happened to be the same week as mine. We arrived at 5am in Taiwan, and after the usual airport shenanigans, we dropped off our stuff at our hotel and got breakfast at a fan tuan place I’ve been eyeing. My sister and I were already craving boba…but at 9am in in the morning, no boba shop is open, ha! Eventually, I looked around on google maps, and discovered Woo Yo nearby is actually open (turns out they open at 7am? My mom thinks it’s for people who want to grab breakfast).

I opted for their tieguanyin. Last time I was here I tried their award winning red oolong tea, and according to their menu, the tieguanyin is also a recommended item. Woo Yo seemed to have changed a bit since the last time I was here…

First boba of the trip is off to a good start! The drink was smooth, a bit roasty but not too roasty tasting, creamy yet light. Boba was good, but I don’t think anything in particular stood out about it.
