The velvet series still looked appealing, and I was intrigued by the lychee series they had going on. For a milk tea, they only had it paired with black tea. Instead of their usual boba, I actually opted for the cube pearl for variety. My mom was more a fan of it than their smaller boba when she previously tried it out, and so I wanted to give it a shot.
The drink was very lychee (good, no faint lychee flavor). On the one hand, I was glad it was strong and delivered on the name, but also wondered how much of it was artificial. Do lychee fruits produce a lot of juice? Milk tea was creamy. Cube pearl was obviously a cube as usual, and a great chewiness. I think this might have been the last time I had it before I noticed it disappeared…
