Apple Taiwanese Ching Tea (蘋果玉露青) – Daming

On March 18, my dad, sister and I went to go get a head spa! It’s the same one I saw on YouTube and took my friend to, which is located near Lungshan Temple. We hadn’t had a drink yet that day, so after our head spa, we looked around the area to see our boba choices. There was a pretty populous intersection nearby with some pretty common options. The Daming interested me, since I had seen the chain around, but never tried anything from it. I haven’t heard anything particularly good or bad about it.

I believe it was a bit later in the day, and I wanted something refreshing at the point. I saw an apple drink that was recommended on their menu, and that got me excited. I’m always down for apple flavored things, and it seemed perfect at that time

It was a pretty good drink, and was what you would expect from the name. It tasted like an apple juice and a light oolong tea combination, with some apple puree. Boba was chewy, soft, and had flavor to it. I’d say the place left a good impression, and I’d like to try a milk tea sometime.

Details: Apple Taiwanese Ching Tea; no ice; 3-4 Sugar; with boba; from Daming (Taipei Lungshan Temple)
