On March 17, my family took a daytrip to Taichung! I went before with my friend, but it was the first time with family. For me, it was half old and new itinerary, and we were mostly excited about Chi Cha San Chen, the only Taiwan location! Boba was our second stop of the day after taking a look around Rainbow Village.
For my drink, I opted for the Dong Ding Oolong with milk. I don’t think I drink Dong Ding too often, and it was one of the milk teas I haven’t had from them yet.
This tea is a slightly toasty oolong, and kind of tastes like a Ceylon milk tea. Drink was not too heavy. Boba was large, chewy and sweet.
The tea tasting experience was pretty cool, and I didn’t realize last time that it was free! On another note, the lady who took my order had the most bizarre English name I’ve seen. I won’t dox her here, but let me know if you want to know…
Details: Dong Ding Oolong Tea; A2 beta casein milk; Bubble; Light Sugar; Ice Free; from Chi Cha San Chen (Taichung)
