On January 10th, my boyfriend and I were chilling in Seattle with no real plans. We went to the local chinatown, ate some claypot rice for lunch, and checked out the Wing Luke Asian American Museum! Of course if you’re in Chinatown, there has to be boba present…so we stopped by Seattle Best Tea, which I think is well-known in the area.
It really gives old school boba shop vibes, with an extensive menu that is just milk teas and fruit teas, and the best part is, the topping you add to your drink is free! I opted for a jasmine, and tapioca pearls
The drink was pretty good, and although at first glance the “jasmine milk tea” color isn’t obvious, the drink itself tasted very jasmine-y. It had a very milk tea taste to it as well, with a texture not too thick. Despite the no ice order, the drink came out cold! And, with lots of chewy boba.
