Honey Milk Tea – Din Tai Fung

Happy New Year! We actually weren’t going to get a drink today, but as a celebratory dinner today we ordered Din Tai Fung. When ordering DTF in America, there’s boba to be ordered.

I swear I thought they used to have other milk tea options, but I guess it’s just the milk tea and honey milk tea. My mom says the honey one is pretty good, and that makes a great new entry to the blog, ha! The Honey Milk Tea is made with, well, honey and Assam Tea.

I can certainly get a whiff of honey in the drink. I did get half sugar, but it tasted like it didn’t have too much, which is good? Tea flavor was apparent, and overall good liquid drink. Boba was mushy and soft. My mom hypothesizes it was microwaved, which would make sense for a restaurant I suppose.
