On October 1st, I hung out with a college friend I haven’t seen in 3 years! She’s from San Jose, and since I’m now in Northern California, I’m a lot physically closer to her (but I suppose anywhere beats the distance with Japan). I don’t have an easy way of getting to her, but she’s willing to drive over to see me! She had the day off, so on her way over to get lunch with me she brought me boba! (The boba around me sucks, and San Jose has good boba)
She brought me 7 Leaves because she left around 10:30, and 7 Leaves is the only place open early enough. This tracks, as most boba places open around 11-12, with a few around 10. I asked for a green thai tea, and I think that’s my new 7 Leaves favorite…but I could use one of their Jasmine soon…but I suppose this has Jasmine in it. Actually, when she mobile ordered, there was no boba available, but when she went to the store, they had boba in stock, so she added it on!
Drink was good (as usual)! Nothing new to note about the drink, a solid, creamy, green thai tea from 7 Leaves. Boba was not the freshest, but that is to be expected after about an hour in transport. Immensely grateful for her and to spend time catching up after a few years! I really missed her 🙂
