Jasmine Milk Tea (#2) – Omomo Tea Shoppe

My dad invited me to go to Trader Joe’s and with it, an Omomo visit. He wanted to go earlier, but I had a meeting, so we went a little later in the afternoon. Of course I won’t say no to a Trader Joe’s and Omomo run. The only problem would be the potential line, but such is always an Omomo problem. Actually, I didn’t go into Trader Joe’s since the line (obviously) was so long. Oh well.

So I know last time I said I was considering the white peach creamomo, but today I’m kind of craving a milk tea. Also, I had kind of an early light lunch-ish, so I also feel it would be nice to have a substantial midday snack, which milk teas tend to be, you know? Also I could use the energy to get some work done today. So I was looking at their milk tea options, and I kind of just wanted to default to something I like today. So I went for a jasmine, after kind of forgetting that they don’t put that on their actual menu.

I asked my mom if she wanted to try the soft serve, and she said yes. But I guess their machine is broken today, so no soft serve. I guess that’s saving money, ha! And I also got a free drink today too because of my reward points.

The drink is better than I remember. I knew that last time I had it it had a fragrant Jasmine taste to it, but today’s is very apparent and strong without being bitter. It’s very much obviously floral Jasmine tea, and I quite like today’s drink. It’s not overly milk or heavy which is also a plus. Omomo is back to their regular black boba today, very chewy, and with the usual Omomo flavor. I feel like the black boba is bigger than the golden one?
