This morning we chilled for a bit, then went to eat some Japanese food for lunch. I was pretty full after lunch, but I can’t say no to boba…my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to go to BB or TJ, and since we had TJ yesterday, I figured getting BB wouldn’t hurt. Besides, I think BB I slightly cheaper and closer to where we were at. I want to say I liked BB’s boba maybe better but honestly they’re probably super similar…
Since we just ate and I was feeling a little full, I wanted something lighter and could wait a little to drink, so milky drinks were out and I guess smoothie drinks were also out. I kind of forgot how BB’s menu was, so I thought s little bit before settling on a passion fruit tea. I was also feeling lazy, and saw that passion fruit tea was one of the recommended/common drinks on the side to, ha. I like passion fruit, so that’s the flavor I went with. I picked green tea because I thought it’s go better with the passion fruit.
Overall, I was pretty happy with the drink. The passion fruit flavor was nice, not too strong, and also not overwhelmingly sweet like some passion fruit flavoring tends to be. I could taste the green tea a little, with a very slight bitter aftertaste. Boba was ok, chewy and a little flavor.
