Sea Salt Cream Iced Teas (Jasmine) – Din Tai Fung

Happy belated New Year’s Eve! On December 31, my family got take-out from Din Tai Fung for dinner. With DTF comes a drink, which interestingly enough only exist on the American menu.

I’ve already tried the main milk teas on the DTF menu, so I decided to go for the sea salt cream on jasmine tea. I heard their sea salt cream is pretty good, and you always have to try a sea cream with jasmine first.

The tea had a very nice aromatic Jasmine flavor! Cream was light and fluffy, with a creamy flavor and just a bit of saltiness to it. Boba was a little hard, but I suppose that’s not a big deal after it being a while from when it was made to when it was consumed.

It turns out, with one lick of the leftover salt cream after I finished the rest of the drink, the cream was insanely salty. Oops. I guess I didn’t mix it in enough. Now I know.
