On December 30th, my sister passed her driving test! To celebrate, we went to Bopomofo for boba. I drove there, and I had her drive me back home!
I had been meaning to get this winter seasonal Triple Strawberry Matcha Latte for a while since I saw it come out. Not sure how much longer it would be around since the year was literally ending, this was my best chance at trying it. Technically January is still winter, but does it still make it a seasonal offer? This also marks my first matcha from Bopo (drinking a lot of matcha these days, ha)! The “triple” in the name comes from strawberry puree, strawberry cold foam, and strawberry milk in a premium matcha latte. I also got a free upsize because of a student discount!
The drink was overall pretty good, though I do think the strawberry jam in particular overpowered the matcha initially, as the matcha was much less noticeable when there was jam. Eventually the matcha was good, I think. Boba was chewy, but I felt the foam on top didn’t really do much for me.
