Jasmine Green Tea Latte – Macu Tea

On December 22, my family went out to dim sum for lunch! Afterwards, I went to Macu with my sister! I don’t think I had been back in a while, and my sister likes their Jasmine, so she suggested going.

Macu has a lot more fruit teas and other teas compared to their milk tea selection, which is pretty basic. Not a bad thing at all, and they have good drinks, but makes choices less available for me when trying out their menu. Nevertheless, I realized I haven’t had their Jasmine yet for how much my sister likes it, so I opted for that one.

Boba was chewy and sweet, and having had TPTea recently, I couldn’t help but compare boba size. Macu was definitely bigger, but still on average slightly smaller than most boba shops.

As for the drink, the jasmine flavor is definitely there, but this Jasmine latte is pretty milk forward flavor-wise. I wonder if it would be less so if I just got a milk tea instead of a latte, but then I’d sacrifice the fresh milk aspect for creamer. Could be worth experinenting.

As a bonus, the drink came in a paper holiday cup! You can’t see the actual drink now though.
