On December 16th, my sister and I went to go get boba (this will be a reoccurring theme over winter break). At this point, my dad had kind of established a soft “drink every other day is acceptable” rule, so my sister was pretty on it when asking me to go out with her. Place of choice was Wushiland, then we could go groceries after to get some stuff for my mom.
I went for the last macchiato I hadn’t tried yet: the Four Seasons Tea. Weirdly enough, there’s no milk tea or latte equivalent for this tea, and vice versa for the oolong milk tea. I don’t think they’re the same either from what I remember of the taste…
Drink was good! I quite like the macchiatos at Wushiland, because once you mix it in (or you can choose not to), you get the milk tea experience, but no heaviness of a milk tea. The four seasons tea was light and refreshing, with the milk foam mixed in even more so. The boba was a bit hard, but perhaps it’s because it sat for a bit while we got our groceries?
Details: Four Seasons Tea Macchiato; with boba; no ice; 30% sugar; from Wushiland Boba (Irvine)
