On November 28th, my sister and I went to see Wicked Part 2 in Theaters! Good movie, and I got free popcorn as a birthday reward! It didn’t feel as long as Part 1, and I thoroughly enjoyed Part 2. I should see the actual musical sometime as comparison…my parents decided to get Din Tai Fung takeout for dinner that night, which means a boba drink! (Ironically, the day I’m posting this we also got DTF for dinner, ha!) This would be the last boba of my Thanksgiving break at home.
We were online ordering when I noticed…since when did DTF have a jasmine tea option for their milk tea? Apparently, for a little while now, but this is definitely a recent development. Although they’ve always had the plain tea option, choosing it for the milk tea is new. It’s not an option for the honey milk tea though…I opted to try their Jasmine for the newness of it, and plus, we were getting DTF for dinner, so the lesser caffeine option is more appealing anyway.
They serve good jasmine tea! I did get my usual half sugar, and the drink itself was not super sweet. It had the fragrant jasmine aroma, but the aftertaste was a bit astringent. Boba was ok. Nothing to note, I think. Except that it costs a whole $1!
