On November 27th, my sister suggested getting boba, and the first suggestion was Bako. However, their online ordering system wasn’t working…and we realized they were probably closed for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving! I scrolled through my places to-try list, and I suggested the relatively newly opened 3Cat. Reviews seemed generally positive, and we could order online too.
Selection seemed pretty good, and I think I was going to order the osmanthus oolong until I saw the online order site doing a deal: the Longjing Milk Tea was 1.99 instead of 5.75! Maybe it was a Thanksgiving promotion. Regardless, the discount gave me an opportunity to try out a new kind of tea. Sounds interesting, and I’ve never heard of it. Probably some kind of oolong variety.
Drink was pretty good! Very oolong-tasting, with a bit of astringent aftertaste. The boba was sweet, though a bit hard. Overall though, pretty happy with trying this new place out, and my family was all happy with the milk teas we got.
