On October 13th, my sister came to visit me! My school had a mini break from classes, and coincidentally, my sister was also on break from school, and her and her friends were spending it in San Jose. They came down for a day to hang out, and it was very sweet of her friend to drive all the way here. Since they were coming from San Jose, I asked her to bring me some good boba, and they got Teaspoon!
This time I opted for the Osmanthus Oolong on their custom tea base menu. I’m always a fan of places that offer Osmanthus Oolong, and I’m glad it’s getting more popular! Of course, I made it a milk tea, and my usual adjustments.
The drink was lightly fragrant, with notes of the osmanthus in the tea. As with Teaspoon drinks, the consistency was pretty watery, but still flavorful. Boba was ok, but it had been in transport for an hour, so honestly, not bad. Overall, good drink, with even better company!
