On August 21, I went out to go get boba at Sunright with my sister! We wanted a change of pace from what we were getting recently, and I brought up Sunright, which I haven’t had in a while.
I have mostly exhausted Sunright’s normal milk tea menu at this point, so I looked to the fruit tea side to try out a new drink. I checked out the featured limited edition drinks for anything that looked interesting, and I was really excited for this fragrant apple oolong. Unfortunately, it was the one drink they were sold out of…Don’t quote me on this, but I think this was part of some Love and Deep Space collab. Instead, I opted for the strawberry jasmine tea. Just fresh strawberries blended with Jasmine green tea. I paired it with honey boba, and ordered 25% sugar because I figured the strawberries would bring natural sweetness.
Drink was good! Both jasmine and strawberry flavors were apparent, though I think maybe the strawberries used weren’t sweet enough for my liking, as I got some astringent aftertaste from the tea. Boba was good, nicely chewy and Sunright standard.
