On August 19th, I took my sister out on a drive to get boba! This time, our shop of choice was Macu (suggested by our mom!). Last time I went it was all order in-person at the cashier, which caused a little confusion about the whole latte option, but now, there’s tablets to order from, with a separate latte section altogether.
This time I opted for their tieguanyin. Still in the milk tea/latte territory, but also on the unique flavor side. I always like a tieguanyin!
Drink was good! It had a light, aromatic tea flavor, and the drink itself was not that sweet. Boba was sweet though and chewy, pairing nicely with the latte. The lattes here do run a little watery and not as creamy, but overall, have good tea flavors and boba.
