On August 15th, I went with my dad and sister to the local dealership to learn about the fancy new functions on the new car my family just bought. It was also for some more driving practice, and once we were done, we decided to head out and get a drink. Our shop of choice was Bako!
I wanted to try a new flavor of tea from them, and decided to go for the Rose Guanyin. I usually hear of guanyin in the context of a tieguanyin, which in itself is just a name of a Goddess. I’m not a huge fan of an overly strong rose flavor, but I was willing to try it out in the context of a milk tea.
It was quite interesting, and overall I did like it! There was a bit of floral-iness, but not too rose-y, and the drink itself had a nice tea flavor! I would definitely choose to get it again on my Bako rotation. Boba was good as usual.
