On August 13th, my sister and I were hanging out, and we decided to go get a drink. I needed the driving practice anyway, so we picked a place close by, and headed to Omomo!
Summer is peach season, and Omomo usually does seasonal drinks (I believe their Itchy Peachy is quite popular). Along with the Itchy Peachy, I noticed a second peach item on their seasonal board: Second Momo. Either it’s new new, or I just haven’t been to Omomo’s during peach season in a long time…It sounded pretty good, and one more Omomo drink for the books! The drink is a blended peach milk tea, made with fresh peach and comes with house marinated peach dices. For the tea base, you can choose white peach oolong or jasmine. I went with jasmine.
The drink was really nice and refreshing! It wasn’t too sweet, and I could taste the jasmine tea among the peachiness of the rest of the smoothie. The marinated peach dices were crunchy and were probably cut from peaches that weren’t super ripe yet, and added textural and flavor contrast from the boba. The drink did start to separate into layers after a while, but it’s a fairly normal blended drink occurrence.
