August 12th was my first full day back home! I didn’t really do too much, but my sister wanted a drink, so we headed out to Wushiland which was close by. I haven’t been to this location before, plus, haven’t had Wushiland in a long time!
I recall matcha used to be a seasonal flavor way back when, but I guess their matcha series is now a permanent menu item. For a new item on the menu, I opted for the matcha macchiato. Now this was totally on me, as I didn’t read the “latte” part of the name, so I assumed I was getting just a matcha with the milk foam on top. I was quite surprised when it came as a matcha latte, plus milk foam…
As you might expect, it was a matcha latte mixed in with milk foam on top. The foam didn’t really do too much for the drink in my opinion, but it was still a good matcha latte. Boba was pretty standard for Wushiland, with the usual huge amount, and pretty decently chewy.
