Jasmine Milk Tea (ジャスミンミルクティー) – Ten Fu’s Tea

Quite a bit of a delayed post (I’ve had two more drinks since then, to be written!), this drink is from 7/19. I went to Hyogo for a day, spending the morning in Himeji, and the afternoon in Kobe. While I was there, I stopped by Chinatown. And when there’s a Chinatown, there has to be boba…after scouting out the choices, I ended up going with Ten Fu’s. It’s actually an affiliate/sister store of Ten Ren’s which I’m a fan of, so I trusted this more than the others.

I opted for the Jasmine milk tea. I knew Ten Ren’s tea would be reliable, and I was craving a Jasmine that day. Large, and all the usual adjustments. I say large, but this size could easily be a regular or even small at some places…that was quite a shock.

As for the drink though, it was so good. A very yummy jasmine, with a strong aromatic jasmine tea flavor, and not very sweet at all. Just a bit milky in texture, and perfectly not heavy. Boba was very good, nice chewy, but left an odd aftertaste…

Details: Jasmine Milk Tea; large; less sugar; no ice; from Ten Fu’s Tea
