On July 15, I flew into Osaka! I’m spending about a week here, traveling around the area to neighboring prefectures. After dropping off my stuff at my hostel, I went to chill at a local mall. And I found a Bull Pulu doing a Dandadan collab. I wasn’t there for the collab, but just to get a boba. Yes, this is a few days late, but I’m on vacation mode. More delayed posts to come.
Anyway, the sign advertising their matcha from Uji made me decide to get the matcha. The clerk advised me the milk tea version includes some actual black tea, whereas the milk is just plain matcha and milk. I wasn’t sure how matcha would pair with a milk tea flavor, so I went for the milk.
It was not bad for a not-matcha store. Matcha flavor wasn’t too strong or bitter. The drink was slightly sweet and creamy. Boba was okay, nicely chewy, little flavor.
