On Monday when I passed by The Tea, I spotted their current seasonal drink: passion fruit green tea. I was in the area after I got my drink from The Alley, so I thought about getting it the next time I was in Sapporo. Turns out, my boyfriend was coming back the next day, so I requested boba, and he brought back boba for me! Good thing they do free no ice.
Pretty straightforward drink. Passion fruit with green tea. Added boba. Although, the menu poster had two bullet points with one being peach, and one passion fruit. Does this mean both are in it? You can choose? I’ll never know…
It tastes as advertised. Very strong on the passion fruit, with a good amount of seeds and pulp in the drink. There was a bit of astringency, so that’s probably the green tea. No real taste of peach, but potentially peach juice adding to the tropical sweetness of it all. Boba was nice and chewy.
