Yesterday I went to Sapporo to take care of some personal business and casually hang out, do Sapporo things. Personal business ended up being for naught, but I did enjoy my time, and got boba! The Alley finally released a new seasonal: a peach smoothie! Peach season is upon us, as all the peach goodies start rolling out…
This drink combines real peach fruit, peach oolong tea, and yogurt, blended into a smoothie. I added boba as usual, but nothing else was adjustable.
It was really yummy! Super peachy and sweet, and didn’t taste too artificial. There were peach fruit pieces on top, and the smoothie overall wasn’t super thick or creamy. I will say though, I think the yogurt componenet is just smeared on the sides, so mixed in to the rest of the drink made it clumpy, with clear moments of tang every now and then. Boba was nice and chewy, though after sitting for a bit in the ice cold drink made it slightly hard after a bit, but that’s to be expected.
