I’m in Sapporo this weekend! The main reason was to see my Sentai live show today, but I think I was decently productive yesterday too. I was thinking about getting boba yesterday, but it just didn’t fit in my schedule. Oh well. I was determined to get one today, and to drink on the bus home! I went to Cocono for lunch, which made The Tea convenient nearby!
I’ve tried most of their milk teas already, but weirdly enough not their only black tea, the earl grey. (Earl grey last seems to be a trend among my boba selections). According to their menu, it’s also their signature drink.
It’s very classic black milk tea tasting, with a rich creamy herbal-y black tea flavor. Unlike the other milk teas here, there’s a lot less of that creamer flavor that always tends to be around. Definitely one of their top black teas. Boba is nice and very chewy. Flavor of everything overall is just right.
