I landed in Singapore today! After landing in the early morning and a bit of a rough start to the day, I got to explore the city and eat lots of yummy food! One of those, is a Chi Cha San Chen drink. While yes, this isn’t unique to Singapore, Singapore has so many branches of it, while Taiwan only has 1. What gives?
I ordered on the tablet, and was very intrigued by this new Sakura konjac oat drink they had. What wasn’t on their paper menu though, was a seasonal peach collection. There was a soda and a cheese cream one, so I went with the iced tea, which sounded yummy and refreshing. Much needed in this hot and humid weather. Weirdly enough it could only be 100 or 0 sugar (I opted for 0 because of the peach), and didn’t allow extra toppings like boba.
The drink was super yummy! The peach went really well with the green tea I chose, and there were a ton of soft and sweet chunks at the bottom, in lieu of boba.

By the way, I got an additional drink this morning at the airport after my “breakfast”. It was a super hot, yummy, peppery broth, and the restaurant gave no free water. I found this boba place (there are many in the airport), and just needed something light and refreshing. Hence, the jasmine. No milk tea, no boba, just a non-sweetened light ice Jasmine tea. The boba scene in Singapore is intense.
