Litchi Guava – Class 302

A couple of days before I head back to Japan, I managed to meet up with another friend! We got dinner together at a poke place, and then ended the night sipping boba from Class 302 while taking a walk and reminiscing about our shared childhood. Gosh I haven’t been to 302 in a while.

I usually get the slushy Thai tea, and the slushy Hokkaido milk tea looked intriguing, but I ultimately ended up with the slushy Litchi Guava next to the Hokkaido. I’m sure the flavoring is fake, but I was lured in by the guava.

The slushy wasn’t too frozen, nor liquidy. It had a vaguely tropical fruity taste, but leaned more so on the lychee than the guava. I did get a scoop of boba, and the first few that came up my straw were very soft and mushy. However, as I kept drinking, the boba became hard, and even icy. I’m assuming this is a user error for pouring an icy slushy on top of the boba, but I don’t think this has ever happened when I got their other slushy drinks.

As an aside, I feel incredibly old. They’ve changed the big fat cups to one size, skinny cup.
