Honey Black Milk Tea – Cha for Tea

Today my sister and I went to go see Wicked in theaters! Tuesdays are discounted at AMC, so we went to see an afternoon showing. The movie was really good! After the movie, we went to get boba next door at Cha for Tea.

I was looking at the online menu beforehand, and was deciding between a few drinks. Looking at the menu again in store, I decided on the honey black milk tea. For one, I like their honey green milk tea, and I figured using honey might be better than just pure sugar. For another, their in-store paper menu doesn’t even have the honey black milk tea. The cashier did confirm they offer it though, so I guess it’s kind of a secret menu!

The drink was very good, with a classic black tea taste and not too watery or creamy. There was just a bit of honey sweetness, and I think this less less sugar thing is working for me. Boba was chewy, and just a bit sweet.
