Today I met up with a friend for a boba date catch up! We for sure were going for boba, but didn’t decide on a place beforehand. Since I had Jam Jam recently and actually really liked it, I suggested we go to also get her opinion on it.
Last time I ordered, I would have gotten the Osmanthus, but I got the Gardenia because that was more unique. Today I went for the Osmanthus, because it’s also rare, just not as rare as the Gardenia. The drink also comes with Osmanthus flowers! I opted for 25% sugar over 50% because the boba would come with brown sugar anyway.
The drink was very good, and lived up to my expectations from last time. It was a very good Osmanthus, floral oolong flavor, and the 25% sweet wasn’t very noticeable. There were indeed flowers, but it was more the occasional small petal caught in the sip. The boba was very good again with the perfect texture and strong brown sugar flavor.
The cup changed today. Instead of the logo and brackets for the order sticker, it was all plain today.
