Yesterday we made a pit stop in Monterey on our way down from San Francisco. Originally we wanted to go see the aquarium, but we left too late that by the time we would arrive the expensive tickets wouldn’t be worth it. I found a boba place, and we decided to check it out.
The menu was quite interesting, with names for all their drinks. They had the classics, as well as some more wide-appeal flavors and smoothies. I went with lavender, since it’s not a common flavor, but still a seemingly safe choice. The drink supposedly had green tea, lavender, milk, sugar, cream, and comes with boba. Unfortunately no ice isn’t an option here.
The drink was not too bad! It felt a little powdery at the beginning, but otherwise, was pretty smooth. I didn’t really taste any tea, but the lavender was apparent, and the drink not too sweet. The boba had no flavor, but was pretty chewy.
