My family is taking a brief Bay Rea trip! Mostly so I can go see my boyfriend over winter break while I’m in America, so thanks to the family for taking me! We stopped by a Chinese restaurant in San Carlos last night, and incidentally, the Boba Guys we found on Google happened to be across the street. Perfect timing and planning!
Boba Guys has a great menu, but it seems they have a new Fall/Winter 2024 menu. In this menu, is an apple drink! I’m an apple girlie, so I had to order this one. It comes with apple puree and jasmine tea, so it was also a nice lighter drink after a full dinner.
The drink was really good! Even though there wasn’t a sugar adjustment, the drink wasn’t overly sweet at all! The apple had a natural sweetness and slight tartness, and paired well with the jasmine tea. The boba was nice, perfectly chewy and just a bit of flavor.
