Jasmine Milk Tea #2 – Sunright Tea Studio

Today’s my last day in the States! It’s been a really quick trip, but any longer and I would have gone full vacation mode…my flight is later tonight (tomorrow “morning”), so on my last day, I met up with friend to chat and catch up!

Honestly looking at the menu, I hoped there’d be something new or seasonal to try, but there really wasn’t anything new of interest, and I realized I’ve tried all of the milk teas. I decided I was craving a Jasmine (a rarity in Hokkaido). I went with honey boba because I thought it’d go better with the drink.

It was very yummy! Jasmine flavor was strong, and their half sugar leaned less on the sweet side, which emphasized the tea flavor. Boba was chewy and soft, which not too much flavor to it.

Oh yeah, todays the day that I found out their “house milk” is actually 2%. It used to just be “house milk”, “fresh milk”, “organic milk” along with their plant-based options, which honestly gave me the impression of “milk made in the back” or something. Now, the menu actually says 2%, which has finally cleared up the mystery.

Sorry mom for getting rid of your included boba in your boba drink.
