Today was my first full day in Sendai! We landed yesterday, and today was just a chill day doing casual shopping and eating. To be honest, I wanted boba yesterday, but we didn’t really have a place to fit it in the day, so this is my first boba of this trip. This time because I’m spending a few days here, I did do some research as to boba shops here, and unfortunately there’s only this place, a bit of a hole in the wall, and the Bull Pulu I went last year. Time to try out a new place!
Though I would prefer a latte, their latte section was considerably smaller than the milk tea, and I spotted a Jasmine in the milk tea section. Since it’s quite rare to find a good Jasmine, I opted to try it out. What could go worse than what Sapporo does to me?
This really solidify does that Jasmine hits different outside of Sapporo. Upon first sip my initial reaction was that the drink is so good. There was a strong jasmine flavor, and it actually was a almost not sweet at all. I guess it kind of tasted watery but the tea flavor it was strong and it’s self wasn’t water down, so I suppose that just means that there wasn’t much sugar to boost the flavor which I didn’t mind at all the Boba was perfect as it was chewy and quite a bit suite, which helped add sweetness to the drink itself. Overall, I would definitely go again and they really deserve higher ratings on Google for sure.
