I’m back in Sapporo from my weekend trip to Hakodate! Well, back after a quick flight, grabbing a quick lunch, and then boba for the bus ride home. Today I’m at Gong Cha because they released a new seasonal a few days ago!
This is my third summer here, and thus my third time seeing Gong Cha make a mango drink. This time around though, it’s actually a new rendition, with the drink composed of an Alishan oolong milk tea, mango sauce, and pinks grapefruit jelly. The “resort” in the name is probably because Gong Cha is not only doing a collab with a National cafe chain, but also a resort in Okinawa. Wild.
The drink is fruity and refreshing! As always, can’t really taste the tea flavor, but I liked the pairing of the mango and the tangy, but not sour grapefruit with the slight milkiness of the drink. Boba was chewy as usual!
