Today I’m going back home after spending the weekend in Sapporo! As usual, my last stop before getting on the bus is boba, and today I’m stopping by The Tea, as I still have drinks to try, and it’s near one of my bus stops.
A while ago I was excited to see they have winter melon on their menu, and they have a milk version and a tea which includes chin cha, and I think I liked their Chincha. I haven’t had their winter melon by itself though. The menu has a separate listing for the Taiwan chin cha by itself, so assuming this is winter melon plus tea, hopefully it actually tastes different than their other milk teas!
Even though I let the drink sit for a bit, it was still nice, maybe because it’s cold out, ha! I can’t exactly make out a strong wintermelon flavor, which is usually pretty strong. It kind of tastes like a oolong milk tea, with a light flavor. Maybe the wintermelon is there? Boba is chewy, and is pretty good.
