Sharing is Caring – Sharetea

Here’s another boba and tea chain, which supposedly comes from Taiwan, Sharetea! A funny anecdote that I think of whenever I’m reminded of Sharetea is the first time my dad saw the storefront and went, Shaw-ray Tea. That was kind of wild. And everyone laughed.

Sharetea has a pretty diverse menu of milk teas, fruit teas, and other miscellaneous drinks. They’re all relatively basic, aside from their dog inspired drinks(?), and mojitos. They have mostly everything covered, from drinks to toppings. Solid place, nothing too special to write home about, but I wouldn’t mind getting a drink from Sharetea if there’s one nearby. I do definitely need to try out more of the menu though.

Chain? Yes. I’ve been to quite a few, including Irvine, San Diego, and Fountain Valley!

Drinks Tried: Fresh Milk Oolong Tea, Fresh Milk Green Tea, Mango Creama, Honey Milk Tea (Oolong)

Boba: Boba is pretty good here, very nice chew and a bit of sweet flavor to it.

Price: Relatively reasonable, though depending on the drink it could add a significant dollar or so. According to my boyfriend, apparently Sharetea is pretty steep in the Bay Area though.

Size: There’s normally one large size of a tall slim cup, but there’s also a small cup for special drinks like the mojitos..? Kind of odd, probably there to overcharge you, but I guess you kind of just have to deal with it.

Interior: The ones I’ve been to have been pretty spacious and minimalist. Really straightforward.

Wait: Like most places, it really depends, but most times I go there’s very little to no line. Very convenient, and ordering goes by fast.

Sell Food? I don’t think so.

Reward System? Yes.
