Woah there. After the crazy non-boba Royal Milk Tea post, here you see another non-boba drink. Yes, it’s another vending machine drink. Yes it’s technically a milk tea. Yes, you can order a matcha latte at boba places. No, I’m not desperate to for content to write about. I have a backlog of some of the shop posts to get to after all…Those will be coming out soon, as I have plenty of time to work on them.
A couple weeks ago at work, I was bored, and so I bought a matcha latte at a vending machine sometime after lunch (at work). Actually, I was going for just a regular bottled tea, mostly for the idea of a caffeine boost. I was comparing, and the matcha latte was cheaper, so I got this one. No, I’m not slacking off at work, because I’m essentially sitting at my desk doing whatever I want and killing time (Such is the deskwarming life). Working on the blog is a good way to feel productive, while also getting to that backlog that I talked about efficiently.
Anyway, as for the matcha latte in question. It was pretty good for a bottled drink. Matcha flavor (as expected of Japan) is pretty strong, and reminiscent of that sweet matcha flavor. Along with that, the drink itself is pretty sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet. The milk flavor is a little there, but it’s more apparent in the flavor than the texture. It’s a little bit watery, but overall can’t complain for a vending machine drink. Not bad.
Details: Matcha Latte; Craft Boss brand; from some vending machine
