My mom had a doctor’s appointment today, and I tagged along to hang out and go look at some things in the area (which include the Tiger Sugar, and we’re both definitely getting a drink!).
I’m onto the next latte, and I’ve been meaning to try their golden oolong for a while. And here we are, perfect opportunity early in the day for a milk tea.
I’d just like to say, every other time I got a Tiger Sugar drink, my dad has bought it. However, after I paid for my drinks, I noticed on the menu that no ice is 50 cents…Then I checked my receipt to confirm, and nothing on the receipt matches the numbers listed on the menu. Highly suspicious…
Surprisingly enough, the first couple of sips reminded me of a Ceylon tea taste. Though after thinking about it, it doesn’t taste like a black tea, but not quite any normal oolong either (what even is a normal oolong?). Tea flavor is light, and has a creamy almost vanilla-y taste to it, which is kind of wild. Very refreshing, and pairs well with the milk they use. Boba is chewy, with a bit of flavor on its own.
