Today’s a Spectrum day with the family to run some shopping errands to prepare for my upcoming trip. We hit up a few stores, bought macarons and Yogurtland for my sister, and my mom wanted drinks from The Alley.
It was around 4:30 when I ordered, and I was thinking about what I haven’t had from the menu yet. I was thinking about some of the non milk tea options for a light refreshing drink on a hot day, but I wanted to try out their Ube drink which is a bit more unique, so I opted for that.
I would try to drink the cream separately, but I think by the time I got it it was kind of sinking anyway, so I decided to shake it and mix everything before drinking.
Upon first taste, the drink is very taro tasting, which is good ( so much so that my sister, who doesn’t like real taro, doesn’t like it, ha!). Although I have to say, at times it can be a bit powdery, which I have to say is a little odd since I think they put it on as a cream, but whatever I guess. Boba is really good though, chewy, and good taste.

Oo that sounds good! I’ve never seen that on the menu when I’ve went, but I’ll be on the lookout!
