Today I went on a sushi date with my boyfriend, then went to buy a few snacks and drinks for a party we’re going to tonight, and then stopped by Tea Maru to get boba.
I wanted to try a new tea of theirs with the latte, and so I decided to try their jasmine since I like a good green tea. The latte comes with mix boba, and I decided to keep the mix boba to see if it would make a difference. Plus, it’s kind of a good deal I think anyway…
Their jasmine tea is pretty good! Light and refreshing, with a strong jasmine flavor. Drink texture is nice, not too thick, and just a bit watery. Boba is nice, and good texture, some of them are a little small, though I can’t exactly tell which flavor of boba it is unless I really focus, or there’s no more tea in my mouth. I’m slightly disappointed that their brown sugar boba isn’t part of the mixed boba combo, but it’s ok.
