Today’s my first full day back at home! I needed to get passport photos done, and my mom drove me since she had other errands to do. While we were in the area, I asked if she wanted a drink, and she obviously said yes. Orobae has a line as usual, and I didn’t want to gamble the line since I have work at 4. I told my mom Cloudy Co is still in the area, and she agreed to trying it again. I haven’t had it since the one time I came when they were soft opening!
At first, I wanted their Mountain Golden Oolong as well as my mom, but the cashier told me that they wouldn’t have it until September. I then went with a different nonstandard milk tea, the white peach. Yes, I did have this on Saturday, but I think the tea generally had a nice flavor anyway.
The drink is very refreshing! The texture is light but not watery, and in this one the peach flavor is very strong and peach forward. I can kind of maybe get an oolong taste, but otherwise it’s a mostly peach tasting drink. Boba is pretty good actually, chewy, and has a nice flavor to it too.
