My friends went on another 2.5 lunch date, and wanted to get tacos today. They were even willing to break their their rule of not letting boys try out our favorite taco place too. One of my friends also requested Feng Cha today, so that’s where we’re headed.
Todays surprisingly hot, so I was really feeling a light and refreshing drink. It’s finally a good chance to get the dragon fruit drink, and I guess it’s not out of season yet. I even got less ice because I wanted to make sure my drink is cold.
The drink is very nice! As expected, cold and refreshing, and definitely a nice change in texture from a milk tea. The dragon fruit flavor is also nicely there, and does taste fresh. It is on the subtle side as dragon fruit tends to be, but overall nicely balanced. There’s also a lot of fresh fruit in there too! A friend said her boba is on the hard side, but I thought my boba was not bad, still has a good texture.
Details: Bursting Dragon Fruit; half sugar; less ice; with boba; from Feng Cha (San Diego)
