Today my friends and I went on a 2.5 date to get ramen and boba. Since 85 is near the ramen place we went to and we still have the May deal to use, it was a good occasion to go.
So the May deal is for a Hibiscus lemonade or strawberry lemonade, but out of the two, I preferred the strawberry. Unfortunately, when my friend ahead of me tried to order it too, apparently the store ran out of lemonade. Instead, I looked for another caffeine alternative drink, and the Taro Lavender latte looked interesting, especially after trying a Lavender Latte at Morning Lavender Cafe and liking it.
The drink is interesting, and not bad. I’m not a super taro fan, but I enjoy a taro drink once in a while. Upon first sip, it does taste like taro, with an extra flavor to it, probably the lavender. I don’t quite remember what it tastes like, but I don’t mind the flavor of this drink. The drink is a little watery though for being a latte. Boba is fine, kind of on the mushy side today.
