A few weeks ago, my friend told me about Foodieland, a food fair(?) that’s happening this weekend, so as our Friday outing this week, we’re eating and snacking at Foodieland. There’s 3 boba vendors, but we chose to buy from Twinkle as they’re the only non-local stand, being from Los Angeles.
The menu was interesting looking, but quite limited with only 6 choices. After asking the cashier about the contents of the drinks because the names aren’t very descriptive, I settled on the Galaxy Jazzy which was a green milk tea, with what looks butterfly pea tea on top.
The drink is light and refreshing! The milk they use isn’t too creamy, and the tea flavor is light but still noticeable, and has a little bit of tea depth to it as well. I did have to wait for boba which I said I was willing to since they don’t charge extra. The boba is a little smaller than average, and slightly stiff, but not completely hard. There’s also some sweet flavor to it to which is nice. For just prepared boba at a booth, not too bad!
