My friend requested we get Feng Cha today since it’s now one of her top places in the area. Everyone loves Feng Cha and I do too, so it’s a win-win for all. We actually ordered take out from a close place, so we went out to get boba first and then get our take out before coming back home to eat.
I was feeling a little tired earlier today, so a nice milk tea is a great choice to get. I decided to try their Thai, since I haven’t had a Thai in a while, and the description when I was reading it made it sound very enticing.
What was quite interesting was that they put the boba in after the drink, but whatever…and there was also a significant amount of space in the cup, and I saw the guy pour in water again. Is this what I get for ordering no ice? What is with Feng Cha and adding water?
Ok so the drink is pretty good, like a standard good Thai tea. It’s somewhat creamy, but here’s the thing: one thing that got me a little hyped was that I read a review that said their Thai was really good because it was more so on the creamy side. I’m not sure if it’s because of this review plus seeing the guy out water in it, but I can taste the slight creaminess which is nice, but a small part of me thinks it also tastes a little watered down? Anyway, it’s a good Thai, and you can’t go wrong with Thai. Boba is good as always, great texture and flavor.k
