My friends and I went out to get food at the Zion food court for convenience, and since Camellia is one of our favorites and close by, we just had to come! I also suggested it since we didn’t have a boba place in mind for today yet too.
I was browsing the menu, and though before the Puer sounded interesting but I didn’t want to try it yet, I decided to try it out today just to see how it was, and since it was kind of mid way in their caffeine chart. Plus, their description of earth and sticky rice made it sound particularly intriguing today too.
Woah, on my first sip, it was very interesting, a very good interesting, flavor. It wasn’t particularly strong, but it does have a particular taste to it that I can’t exactly describe. I can tell where they got the earthy description from. It’s almost, almost, toffee and/or coffee like, but not so much as other teas or drinks have been. Quite wild! I wouldn’t put this on my go-to list, but I’m glad I tried it. It might grow on me in the future. Boba great as always, super chewy and also that same sweet flavor.
