Yesterday my friend found that there’s going to be an event today with free boba. So instead of getting boba after dinner, we’ll have it before and free. Free boba is always good…but I guess always at a price since I had to wait 2 hours until I got it…
There were limited choices, but for milk teas there was only signature milk tea and Thai tea. I haven’t had Thai tea in a while, and since I can’t adjust preferences for my drink, I figured a Thai would be a good default.
I got it cold fresh out of an ice box, but didn’t want to be too full before dinner so I saved it to drink after we finished our groceries. Plus, letting it sit would give the boba a chance to naturally soften since it was likely cold after being in the cooler so long. I didn’t mind, personally it feels slightly cooler than room temp in my mouth at least…so anyway, the drink tastes pretty good and standard for a Thai tea. I feel like the tea taste could be stronger, but I’m not going to be picky about free boba from Ding Tea. Boba’s ok, kinda chewy and not bad too.
Details: Thai Tea; with boba; from Ding Tea

Still worth of the wait!
