Today I went on a date with my friend, since I’ll be moving back from home to college because I have to actually attend an in-person class starting next week. We decided on Pepper Lunch at Diamond Jamboree, had dinner, walked around for a bit, and since Sunright has a location here, we got boba! Huzzah for more Sunright, getting the recognition it deserves on my blog…am I biased, probably, but I really like Sunright ok. Also, this location still has their Lunar New Year cups, so that’s nice, I guess.
It was pretty late in the evening once we did finally stop to order our drinks, so I did kind of need to get a non-caffeinated drink. There’s quite a few on their menu which is nice, but a good go-to is just a brown sugar milk, because you get the experience of a milky drink while also coming with boba already in it. Yes, it’s a sweet milk. No, my opinion hasn’t changed on sweet milk, but I’m getting it anyway. My mom got one, my friend got one and I got one.
The drink, like any other brown sugar boba milk, tastes like a slightly sweet milk. Again, not a bad thing, but does come with the simplicity of the drink and ingredients themselves. Think whole milk, but slightly sweeter. Boba is pretty good and super chewy and soft, and flavored pretty nicely too.
